The problem nobody named

Ordinary bulbs are stuck at twilight. Neither day nor night.

For a hundred years, a bulb had one job: make light you can see. It never mattered what time it was. So every lamp in your home holds one fixed signal from morning to midnight, a perpetual twilight. It is never bright and blue-rich enough to be the day your body needs to feel awake, and never dark and blue-free enough to be the night it needs to fall asleep. Your eyes adjust. Your body clock is left in a day that never fully starts and a night that never fully comes.

The OIO Loop: see the blue disappear

A pocket diffraction grating in a holder. Look at any light through it and its spectrum spreads into a rainbow, so you can watch OIO pull the blue out at night with your own eyes. Hold it up to daytime OIO and you see the full rainbow. Switch to evening mode and watch the blue end vanish. The proof is in your own eyes, not a spec sheet.

Circadian Lights Beat Out Just Full Spectrum Lights
It's so cool how the color spectrum that the bulbs emit change throughout the course of the day in the same way the sun changes its colors from morning through noon and night, which follows our natural circadian rhythm and health. (It's better on my eyes at my desk too.)

Your light, all day, in one picture

The whole day's spectrum. Watch the blue disappear from the night.

Wavelength runs across the front, morning to night goes back, and brightness is the height. The bright ridge is right now. This is the actual signal your body reads, and how OIO reshapes it hour by hour. Tap to open it full-screen, then spin, zoom and scrub through the day.

rendering spectrum…

The same spectral engine that ships in the OIO app. Representative spectra; measured production values published on the spec sheet.

Signal, not brightness

Dimming isn't circadian. Warming isn't circadian. Changing the signal is.

A special set of cells in your eye, separate from the ones you see color with, are tuned to cyan-blue light around 480nm. That's the wavelength your body clock actually reads. Blue in the morning says day. Blue at night says stay up.

A color smart bulb, your amber bulb, your “warm white” setting: they change what you see. They don't change that signal. OIO reshapes the spectrum itself to hit the same warm white with the blue actually stripped out. Same color to your eye. A different message to your clock.

ZeroBlue

Dark to your clock. Bright to your eyes.

The cells that set your body clock don't respond to brightness. They respond to one narrow band of blue-cyan light, roughly 440 to 495 nm: the blue signal. An ordinary warm bulb still carries it. ZeroBlue engineers the blue signal out and leaves the rest of the spectrum in place, so it goes nearly dark while the room stays bright enough to live by. That is the whole claim, and you can measure it.

Same warm room to your eyes. A very different amount of blue signal. No dimmer or warm-white bulb pulls those two apart, and the Lab in the app lets you measure it in your own room.

Simple by design

The hardest part is picking which lamp.

1
Screw it in

Any standard socket, any lamp or fixture. No hub, no wiring, no electrician.

2
Tell it your hours

When you wake, when you wind down. Two answers. That is the whole setup, about five minutes.

3
Forget it

It runs the day-to-night arc on its own, for good. You never have to open the app for the lights to work.

No hub required~5-minute setupThe coach is optional, off by defaultGreat for bedrooms, nurseries & kids' roomsSet it up once for someone else, no phone for themAlexa, Google Home & Matter30-day returns
Nights, rotating, or 9-to-5, it runs on your hours.

OIO follows the wake and wind-down times you set, not the sun, so set your wind-down for 8am and it runs your day in reverse. Rotating shifts can save day and night profiles and switch between them, and the coach guides you toward steadier sleep within your own schedule, never a 9-to-5 it grades you against.

Automatic

You don't need another app to manage. You need light that manages itself.

The lights run your whole day on their own. When you want more, the app adds a circadian coach that reads your sleep and helps you shift your rhythm toward the one you want.

Set it once

Tell OIO your wake and sleep times. That's the whole setup. It runs the rest.

The lights run themselves

The day-to-night arc plays out on its own. You never have to open the app for your light to do its job.

A circadian coach, if you want one

Connect your sleep and activity and the app scores your rhythm, estimates where your body clock sits, and gives you a daily plan to nudge it toward your target. Reminders are optional and off by default.

Yours, not locked in

Connects over standard Wi-Fi and works with Alexa, Google Home, and Matter, including local Matter control and Home Assistant. You are not tied to one company's cloud.

A day with OIO

Bright when you need to think. Blue-free when you need to sleep.

One schedule runs your whole day. Tell OIO when you wake and when you wind down, and it walks the light through the arc your body expects, following your location's real sunrise and sunset.

Hit play to sweep a full day, or drag it. Dim the bulb and its colour warms with the real OIO curve. By day the window keeps the room lit even with the bulb off; at night, off means dark. The blue-signal reading combines the bulb and the daylight.

Morning
Energize

Bright, blue-rich light: a full daytime dose in the band your clock reads.

Midday
Steady

Clean daylight that keeps you sharp through the afternoon.

Evening
Wind down

Warm, dimming light with the blue pulled back as bedtime nears.

Night
Ember

A near-candle glow, blue stripped out. Dark enough to sleep by, warm enough to be beautiful.

Not a warm dimmer. Not a color bulb.

A color smart bulb is great at color. It was never built to change the signal.

No shade: a good smart bulb does exactly what it was designed to do. But dimming and color are about what you see. Only OIO changes what your body reads, and your body reads the light in every room. Start where sleep is won or lost, the bedrooms, then work outward one room at a time until your whole home runs on the right signal.

The technology

We engineered the spectrum from the ground up. Here is what that makes possible.

Two lights can look like the exact same color and carry completely different signals to your body. Physicists call it metamerism. We call it the whole point. See it for yourself.

Two warm whites, same color, same brightness. Look identical? They are, to your eye.

Beyond warm/cool
Not two white LEDs

An ordinary tunable bulb just slides between a warm LED and a cool one. OIO reshapes the whole spectrum, so it can hold the color you see while changing the signal underneath.

6500K → 800K
Daylight to deep ember

From bright, blue-rich daylight down to a deep 800K ember with the blue stripped out, and it dims all the way to 0.01%: a true ember you can sleep beside, not just off. A range no ordinary bulb comes close to.

∞ spectra, 1 answer
Solved in real time

Any color you see can be made from countless different spectra. OIO computes the one with the right blue signal for the moment: blue-rich by morning, stripped out by night, continuously across the day.

Proof

Built by Korrus, a photonics company. Not a wellness startup that ordered bulbs from a catalog.

OIO comes out of Korrus, a serious lighting and photonics company. The spectral engineering that lets one bulb hit the same color with a healthier spectrum is real, measured work, not a marketing story. We publish our spectra and our numbers, and we're honest about the limits: light supports your body clock. It is not a drug, and it does not cure a sleep disorder.

Straight answers

The questions worth asking.

Is this just a warm dimmer, or a color smart bulb with a story?+

No. Dimming and warming change what you see. A color smart bulb, a warm-white setting, a cheap amber bulb: same idea, and your body clock still reads the blue in them. OIO changes the actual spectrum, so it hits the same warm white with the blue signal removed. It's a different mechanism, and we publish the spectra so you can check.

Isn't a blue-light filter like f.lux or Night Shift the same thing?+

Those only warm the light coming off a screen. The lamp lighting your whole room stays full-spectrum, and at night that room light is most of what reaches your eyes. OIO changes the room light itself, so the blue signal drops everywhere you're actually looking, not just on your phone.

Will a light bulb really do anything?+

Light is the main thing that sets your body clock, so the input is real. We're careful about the claim: OIO supports your circadian rhythm by giving your clock the right signal at the right time. It is not a drug and does not cure a sleep disorder. That's exactly why it's 30-day money-back: judge it on your own sleep, and send it back if it's not for you.

Do I have to babysit an app?+

No. You set your wake and sleep times once, and the lights run themselves after that. The app adds a circadian coach that reads your sleep and coaches your rhythm, plus a daily light score, if you want them. Its reminders are optional and off by default, and the lights never need you to open it.

Can I override the automation?+

Always. Automation never forces brightness on you. Dial any room up or down, set a scene, or take full manual control whenever you want. It goes back to running your schedule on its own.

Is the night mode genuinely dark and blue-free?+

Yes. The night ember dims to a near-candle glow with the blue stripped out: dark enough to sleep by, warm enough to be beautiful, gentle enough for a nursery or a 3am trip to the kitchen.

Do I need a hub? What does it work with?+

No hub. It screws into a standard socket like any bulb and connects over your 2.4GHz Wi-Fi. It works with Alexa, Google Home, and any Matter-compatible app, including local Matter control and Home Assistant, so you are not locked to one cloud. It coexists with your existing smart bulbs too, so you can swap the rooms that matter first.

I work nights. Is this built for a 9-to-5 schedule?+

It is built for night workers, and not by telling you to flip your clock to nights. Most people who work nights are back on daytime when they are off, so constantly flipping between the two is the real harm. OIO holds warm, blue-free light for you to work under, so you can function through the shift without signalling 'daytime' to your body clock, and stay anchored to the day rhythm you actually live on.

30-day money-back · 1-year warranty

Give your nights a different signal. Risk-free for 30 days.

Light that works with your body clock instead of against it. Start with one bulb in the bedroom, or relight the whole house. 30-day money-back returns, a 1-year warranty, and 10% off your first order.
